The guidelines for fans, venues, and partners using AFCON Screenings. Please read these before listing or attending an event.

Using AFCON Screenings

  • Purpose: we help fans find AFCON viewing parties and help venues promote approved screenings.
  • Eligibility: you must be 16+ to create an account; venue owners must be able to legally host events.
  • Accuracy: keep your account, venue, and screening details truthful and up to date.

Fan reservations

  • Reservations: saving or booking a screening shares necessary details with the venue host.
  • Changes: venues control entry policies, pricing, and availability; we surface what they provide.
  • Conduct: respect venue rules and local laws when attending screenings.

Venue obligations

  • Approvals: venues must submit accurate information; approval can be revoked for breaches.
  • Publishing: only publish screenings you are permitted to host; ensure compliance with broadcast rights and safety.
  • Cancellations: notify us and affected attendees promptly if details change or events are cancelled.

Content and IP

  • Ownership: you keep rights to content you upload; you grant us a license to display it on the platform.
  • Prohibited: no infringing, hateful, or misleading content. We may remove content at our discretion.
  • Branding: AFCON Screenings is not an official CAF website; third-party marks belong to their owners.

Prohibited uses

  • No scraping, reverse engineering, or abusing rate limits.
  • No misrepresentation of affiliation with venues, teams, or governing bodies.
  • No attempts to bypass security or access other users' data.

Liability & changes

  • Service is provided “as is”; availability may vary.
  • We are not liable for venue operations, broadcast rights, or attendee conduct.
  • Terms may change; continued use means you accept the latest version.
